This past weekend, the hub and I ventured up north to the Maker Faire in San Mateo. It was not hard to drag him with me because it offered the best of both worlds, the geeky and crafty world. The hub enjoyed watching a miniature war battleship (while I napped sitting on the bench) and best of all, he got to meet his long lost twin Grant Imahara from the Mythbusters. Our friend, Steve, claimed that Mr. Su and Grant are like peas in a pod. You think? I don’t think so…Grant was walking pass us before my hub realized that it was Grant Imahara. I immediately went after him and tapped him on the shoulder (he must be annoyed, I was so excited that I lost my manner). He was nice enough to entertain our request thankfully.
As for me, I love being out there (gorgeous weather) and be with the like-minded people. I always feel out of place because none of my friends are crafty or into that kind of creative stuffs. My favorite parts are meeting Sister Diane from Craftypod (very nice and friendly) and the lego displays

Oh I also stopped by Burda and Spoonflower booths. There was a bag making demo
