Alright, finally I am done. Sort of, I need to get a few more artworks to fill the empty walls. Nevertheless, here it is
From one of the corners. I am still looking for the right frame to hang my other cross-stitch next to that pink cross-stitch. BTW, the chair does not belong there. I need to buy a proper chair because I stole this one from my dining room. The pink boxes that you see there, I made those with tutorial from J.Caroline. They are perfect to store my sewing patterns and yarn.
From another corner
Lia, if you are reading, I framed the Lara Cameron’s fabric scrap that you gave me.
My fabric stash is stored in those three fabric baskets on the bottom-shelf of the cutting table. The fabric basket is the larger version of the pink basket that you saw earlier. I put three rattan baskets on the top-shelf to house my UFO. The liners are Heather Ross’ fabric. Here is a closer look
One more angle,
Where sewing actually happens. Now, let me share with you my latest obsession, drawer organization. I spent last weekend organizing every single drawers in the house. The Container Store and Storable must really love me. I bought modular containers to store all little things that otherwise will look clutter-y in the drawers.
According to Mr. Su, this obsession is definitely borderline crazy. Well, I blame it on Martha Stewart and Chez Larsson. Have you seen the latest Martha Stewart Living where she shows the content of each drawer in her kitchen? they are so inspiring. As for Chez Larsson, she is the queen of organization. Check her out.
I’d like to thank Mr. Su for helping me set up this sanctuary and putting up with my antic. Love you 🙂
