This is probably my last top because after that I will immerse myself in gift making. Two of my best friends are getting married this summer and I am in their bridal parties. For their showers, I am making them bags rather than giving them store-bought racy lingerie (common bridal shower gift among my circle of friends)
Amy Butler’s Field bag for my friend Andry, whom I have known for more than 10 years
Mind you, it will be my first bag sewing endeavor. I made tote bags before but those don’t count right?
After bag sewing, I’ll make gifts for my mom and friend back home in time to visit them in June. I am on a tight deadline here.
Too many things to make, so little time. On top of crafting, I also try to stay on top of house chores, keep abreast with current affairs and of course, spend time with friends and family. I typically knit on weeknight and sew on weekend. How about you guys? I can’t imagine how my blogging friend, Lia, does it. She has two kids and a business to run, yet she always find time to craft and even better, write amazing tutorials on her blog.
Before I am off to start my weekend (still have to work tomorrow, duh). I want to give thanks to all of you for reading my blog. I intended to use this blog as a means to journal my crafty endeavors, very few of my friends know about this. I am not trying to hide anything from them, but it is more fun that way. Just like Harry Potter living in two worlds, a muggle and a wizard world. Having said that, I am grateful that I am not just having a monologue. Some people out there are actually reading it. Special shout out to Lia, Jackie, Kristie, and Suzie who are always cheering for me through good and bad projects. Thank you all 🙂 For the rest of you, speak up. I am eager to get to know you and your crafts.
