Either I am feeling blah or the spring edition of Twist Collective is just blah or it is just not for me. For one thing, there are way too many socks and shawl patterns, two items that I don’t knit. Furthermore, some of the sweater patterns looks so ordinary, simple pullover and really plain, I am so uninspired…what happen? worse yet, no Ysolda’s pattern, what’s up with that?
On the bright side, I manage to find four patterns that cheer me up but still not to die for
Celandine. Now, it may look simple but I love the neckline, it is so beautiful. I also love the fact that it is knitted in a super skinny yarn (lace weight), which makes it like a store-bought and machine-knitted tank. I might knit it.
Azami. This is a lovely pullover with hoodie. it has just enough lace to accentuate the design. But, I may not buy this pattern because I have similar pattern in my stash, Riding to Avalon by Connie Chang.
I love this Poplar and Elm, the blue is so spring-y. But, I knitted a wrap before and I look fat in it.
I got no FO or UFO to show yet. I made a mistake on my Alice top and it took me almost a week to fix it. Again, I jinxed myself when I said i haven’t had any problem knitting lace.
