It is past midnight and I am still up. I should be in bed but spring forward has kind of disturbed my sleep cycle a bit. Anyway, what have I been up to? I started sewing this over the weekend. I chose the pink polka-dot top or view E
I ripped out the gathered tunic that I sewn a few weeks ago and use the fabric for this project. Loose-fitting top is just not my cup of tea. I hope to turn lemon into lemonade, fingers crossed.
The Alice top is also making a progress, I am 40% done but it’s still long way to go. This project is definitely a piece of art. I am so proud of myself for knitting it without much trouble.
Other cool stuffs I stumble upon
– Fabric designer branching out beyond quilting cotton, Anna Maria Horner’s Little Folks in voile. I especially love this dress and this top made out of Little Folks. They are like the affordable version of Liberty fabrics. Heather Ross is also doing something similar through Spoonflower but I haven’t seen much buzz going on the blogsphere, what’s up with that?
– New dress pattern on Burdastyle, Theresa dress will look gorgeous in Little Folks
– Knitty Spring/Summer is up and my favorites are
Simple, summer-y but I will sub the yarn, I don’t like the wrinkle look.
Looks like something that Marie Antoinette would wear
Alright folks, time to hit the sack.
