After soaking myself in a fiber-y goodness at Stitches West, I now can sympathize with people who suffer from some sort of addiction. At the first hour, I was able to keep my composure, by the second hour I started my buying spree and I was delusional at the last hour. How can you not? just look at these
This is Malabrigo exhibition booth, I stood there for half an hour and touch every single one of this awesomeness
This is my favorite booth, it belongs to Tess Designer Yarn. The booth is stocked with aisle upon aisle of yarn arranged by color, it really looks like a candy store. Another shot of Tess
I really broke my stash busting oath. But, I think I spent my money wisely. I only purchased the so-called boutique yarn, Madelinetosh, Malabrigo and Rowan. Here is the pic of my haul
On a different note, here is my Diminishing Rib Cardigan progress. I don’t think I can be done in time for the Olympic closing ceremony. The yarn is Berroco Gold Inca, it feels so buttery. I am loving it. The olympic, btw, is awesome. I enjoyed figure skating, ice dancing and short-track so much. Kim Yu Na skated so gracefully, I did not mind staying up past my bedtime just to see her skate.
Please excuse my google shirt, I did not mean to advertise them on my blog. I just love layering this comfy t-shirt with a vest that I took off for this shot.
