I Bumped into Jenny Hart of Sublime Stitching. Yes, the Jenny who brought embroidery sexy back
Darn, I did not look my Sunday best…I was sans make up. No, we did not bumped into each other at a cocktail party. We were at Bazaar Bizarre over at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
With that, I bought a signed copy of Sublime Stitching…it was signed by the one and only Jenny Hart, can you believe that?
Bazaar Bizarre was a lot of fun. I was so happy to discover that there are a few craft markets in San Francisco Bay Area right around holiday season. There will the Holiday Renegade Craft Fair next weekend and I am sure I will be there (since I will be having dim sum with friends that weekend anyway)
A few snapshots from the Bazaar
Aside from the book, I did not buy anything. There were so many cute stuffs but every time I picked it up and ready to pull my wallet out, my brain convinced me that i could make it myself. I saw this cute bias tape for $9/ 3 yards then I remembered this tutorial on how to make my own bias tape so I caved in to the courage of my brain conviction (as Julia Child would advise)
What else did I do? Oh yeah, I finally put up the xmas tree
My favorite ornaments
Can you tell I am a Disney fan?
I also finished making muslin from the Sew U skirt pattern. More on that later. Have a great week
