Thank you all for the sweet comments on my JJ blouse. Here is another FO that I finished recently,
Pattern: Diminishing Rib Cardigan from Interweave Knits Spring 2009
Yarn: Berroco Inca Gold (80% merino, 20% silk) less than 7 skeins
Needle: Circular needle US size 9
Modification: none
Techniques learned:
- I-cord edging
- Tubular cast-on and cast-off
I knitted the smallest size and it fits perfectly. I love the yarn because it is soft and buttery. The thing is I love knitting with merino for that quality. But, merino grows lengthwise after washing. So, it is important to block it to measurement. The pattern is very straight forward and very simple. The I-cord edging finishes the edge effortlessly while the tubular cast-off is brilliant, it makes the hem looks so professional. I wish the pattern comes with some form of closure (button or something). I installed hooks and eyes but they don’t close beautifully.
